BMW HP4 Carbon Fiber Prototype

This thing is super cool. Nothing related to the G310 GS or R but darn, this is gorgeous. This is the BMW HP4 prototype and the amount of carbon is phenomenal. Check these wheels out !

Too much carbon fiber! All I see are carbon fiber lines all over the bike. Would look better if it were just the wheels and part of the fairing.

I love it! Personally am a huge fan of carbon fiber, I can only imagine how much this thing weighs. Maybe 400lbs, perhaps less?

The wheels are the best part of all of this I think. As you can imagine, IF they were to ever sell them, which I doubt, they would probably go an easy $4 grand a piece.

If there's anything we should get its those carbon fiber wheels and i'm actually surprised that no other brands have done this yet. come to think about it Ducati should have been one of them and clearly that's not the case.

Panigale + Carbon Fiber wheels = the ultimate combination.

There is a fair amount of aftermarket wheels that are carbon fiber. Are you certain that BMW is the only manufacturer that has offered a bike with carbon fiber wheels?

Maybe it's because the aftermarket is so saturated with carbon fiber wheels that the other manufacturers don't see a point in doing so. Carbon fiber will definitely reduce the overall weight of a bike, but that stuff is very expensive.

The most effective weight reduction is rotational mass weight reduction. These things will make a world of a difference performance wise.

Apparently, rotational weight compared to static weight, the ratio equates to 1:2.x - 1:3 in the sense of every 1lb of rotational weight lost equates 2.x - 3lbs of static weight.
