Sadly no G310R for me.

I finally made it to the Dealer Today to view the 310,sadly i won't be buying one,the riding position is not for me,but i was very impressed with the quality feel of the controls & the general fit & finish,i was also quite surprised it felt as tall as it did(i'm short legged(30" inseam) & could not get both feet flat on the floor, which i was surprised at.
I was also disappointed by the lack of interest the sales guys showed while i was viewing the bike, maybe a bit below there normal sales commission margins?.
All in all it looked a decent bike & should sell well,as long as the sales staff start treating prospective customers with more attention.

Sorry to hear, fortunately the market has been introducing a lot of models throughout the years so even looking towards the used market you should be able to find something. But of course that depends if you even want to go that direction.

Sorry to hear about that. Have you thought of anything else that could be your prospective next bike?

I'm guessing the seat height and poor customer service is what turned you away?

Thanks for responding & in answer to a couple of the posts.
I have no idea what to look at next,it has to be made for a short a**e,the poor customer service is disappointing rather than a deal breaker, the reason the 310R isn't for me is the riding position.
This is hard to describe & the best i can come up with is,the feel of the bike is more like a Super Mottard(KTM etc) than a standard bike,it's very much a sitting on rather than a sitting in bike & i just feel really exposed(nothing in front of me)with this riding position.
This probably says more about my age than the Bike & i'm sure most customers for the Bike, won't even know what i'm talking about,it will feel fine to them.
I've not put this very well, but it's the best i can do

How about the new Honda Rebel ? I'm due a test ride on one in the next week or so. Apparently it has a very low seat and is really comfortable. The bit that is putting me off is the front seems a little high to me, but this may suit you better?

I'm in Scotland. It is technically released now, but Honda are apparently struggling to get them in dealerships. I spoke to my local at the weekend. The Rebel was originally meant to arrive week commencing 10/04/17. Now it should be arrive either today/tomorrow, or beginning of next week.
I normally do a little review of bikes I test ride. I'll send you a link once I've got my hands on it if you like?

The Rebel does look really cool and it definitely is short people friendly (I'm a shorty too). Sat on one at the motorcycle show and it felt great! Just not really my style unfortunately.
