Front brake issue

Since the first service I've noticed an issue with the front brake where it seems to loose friction when lightly braking using only the front brake as the wheel rotates.

Kinda like... Slowing, slowing, slowing, not slowing, slowing, slowing, slowing, not slowing...

I've sprayed the disc down with brake cleaner and it helped for a little while now it's come back just as bad.

The bikes done 2,200 km...

Any ideas?

Warped rotor? I had two sets go bad on my old F800GS, and the problem only went away when I finally gave up and replaced the front rotors with non-BMW (cheap eBay!) ones.

At 3000 km they have changed the front brake unit.
I canít tell you if it was the top part of the brake or the caliper (where the blocks are).
I donít know it was a kind of recall but my dealer changed the unit.
