Nothing fancy, do not like linear rev counters... oh well

Great find. Just so everyone knows, here's exactly what it will display: engine speed, road speed, gear, total kilometres, engine
temperature, fuel tank level, remaining range, average fuel consumption,
average speed, time.

It being a BMW, I think they could have stepped it up just one more notch. As long as it does its job, that's the most important thing.

Was hoping for a colored dash. It's functional but not what I wanted.

It's on par with other entry level offerings. BMW needs to price it competitively, the bike has been designed with India and SE Asia in mind...

The India and SE Asia aspect is important. People don't have tons of money there although there is a growing middle class. They have money to spend on an affordable motorcycle. If it's meant for those markets, one has to assume that it will be cheap elsewhere as well.

Does it cost more to have certain colors as the back light? If it's cheaper to go with blue then it very well could be that color.
