Lowering kit

I see Hornig is offering a lowering kit that reduces height of seat, by adding a part to the shock. not sure yet how that works.

about E140 euros.

just spotted where it fits.
you have to remove the shock, and take off the lower fixing block and use the new fixing block in place, ( it must be shorter) and then refit the shock

Wouldn't that affect how the g310r rides? May be better to just shave some foam off the seat of the factory lowered seat isn't low enough. but then again, I know nothing of shocks.

I fitted a lowering kit to the CBR250R for the wife.
I couldnt tell the difference in handling. as long as you lower the front as well, by lifting the forks in the headstock, it doesnt upset it.

The of that with shipping to the US will not be great to see on paper once calculated but being something for the long term that will last us the life of our bikes I guess it ain't that bad. Hopefully once US buyers can get the G310 that lowering kit will be available on US soil

Shipping is an extra 30 Euros to the US so it's not too bad.

What does the lowering kit include? The site doesn't list the kit components.

From the picture it is just the shock end. You unscrew that end from the shock and put this one on. Then cut down the side stand, because it will now be too long and the bike will stand more upright, causing it to fall over to the right side.
