Fenda Extender

One of the first things I bought for my G310R was a Pyramid Plastics Fenda extender for the front. So if anyone is thinking of buying one take a look at the pic.
I am not complaining about Pyramid Plastics but the extender doesn't work very well because the G310R front mudguard is too short for the extender to be more effective. The Front mudguard on the GS is longer and if it could be fitted to the R then attaching the fender extender to it would probably work, that's if it fitted!
Compare the R and the GS-

So if you're thinking of buying one just be aware of its limitations, at least it saves the top of the radiator area.

Even though it might not fully serve its function, I also think it accents the bike really well. Are you thinking to swap out the mudguard too? Guess you need to determine if it can be retrofitted properly. Thanks for heads up.

I was thinking of swapping but then realised the R has 17 inch wheels whereas the front on the GS is (I think) 19 inch. Probably means that the GS mudguard circumference is larger than the R, but looking at the photos you would think they might fit.
I'm going with the old fashion solution and hope it doesn't look too silly- i.e. a mudflap!

BMW has a mudguard, I have one, just look at one of my first posts, doesn't look very good on a 310r so I took it off.

I just used a small piece of plastic and it sits on top of the starter and in the spoiler. Sits fine and easy to remove. Works for me.

Could just buy a radiator guard. Seen one somewhere for $35 and it had G310 R cut into the metal.
