Anyone know what this is for?

I saw this while installing the led turn signals. Anyone know what this spot is for? I might rig something up to mount a GoPro there. It does take a M6 bolt.

I think that is for the front fork lifts. I believe a adaptor screws in there when using the lift.
Big guess on my behalf, as I have never used one, just seen them online.

Assuming you have an ďRĒ...

...and assuming the triple trees are the same on both bikes?

The GS has a plastic plate mounted to that spot - I assume itís for weather protection...

Garage
I considered this when looking for a spot to mount my gopro session, but I ended mounting the gopro to the brake fluid reservoir.

Thanks all! It’s good to know this is here and just limited to our imagination to find additional uses for it. Please share if you find a way!
