Red face LED aftermarket headlight

I'm buying an aftermarket round LED headlight replacing the existing headlight.

My question is whether the indicators are mounted on the headlight unit or on the frame/shocks?

So if I take out the headlight+headlight unit are the indicators going off aswell? In that case I need to buy aftermarket indicators aswell.

Thanks for answers in advance

I'm almost positive they're mounted on the frame not the headlight unit.

So you haven't bought the R yet? They're mounted on the headlight unit (for the R). There is another user in this forum that has replaced the light with a round light from the R nine T, I think he moved the indicators to attach them to the radiator similar to the scrambler.

Thank you for your answers, I've bought some micro LED indicators so that I can attach these once I get the headlight and bracket.

Cool, keep us updated of your progress, I'm sure other members might want to try the same modifications.

Yeah I'd love to see how the bike looks with the new headlight. We're thinking about doing the same thing with my wife's GS to deal with the annoying headlight wobble.
