Directional Turn Signal Indicators

At my wife's request, I added directional LED turn signal indicators above the instrument console.

First, I removed the plastic on each side of the headlight shroud. Each side is secured with a single hex screw located under the bike's nose. Next I removed the two hex screws from each side of the bike that secure the headlight shroud. They are easily identified by the rubber bushing around the screws head. Once those screws are removed, I was able to gently pull the shroud away from the bike to gain access to the bike's wiring. I used 3M T Taps and tapped into each turn signals wires, then secured my Less with velcro...so they are semi-permanent.

It was fairly easy and used less than $10 in materials. The LEDs were bought on Amazon, made by Blue Seas.

Its not too bright at night to be distracting. My wife wishes they were brighter during the day.
