G310R louder horn

Has anyone replaced their horn on the G310R?

I'm looking for something louder that will fit in the space available (without touching the fork) and is plug and play.

Thinking about getting the hella strong tone horn set and using either the 420hz or the 350hz horn.

Got the Hella Strong tone horn set S90, the horn fits perfectly, even at full lock to the right, now just need to splice into the cable to connect the horn. Don't know what it sounds like yet, but should sound better than the stock horn.

I've attached some pictures:

Keep us updated, was thinking of a louder horn too, had an air horn (Stebel) on my last BMW.
Really got the attention of everyone when I had to use it, but it's too big to fit on the G310.

The GS horn is mounted under the "beak", room for two pancake style horns.

I installed a Fiamm Freeway Blaster (low tone version, model #72112) tonight & it is WAY louder than the OEM horn. I like it!

It appears that BMW use a standard socket for the horn. I think this will be a useful cable for those upgrading to a new horn.

I just finished installing the Denali Soundbomb Mini Horn on my G310R a few mins ago.
Not sure if it's any louder or better than any of the other horns listed in this thread, but it does sound more 'commanding' than the stock does for sure (I'm sure anything will in comparison to the stock horn, actually).

For those of you who may be interested, I wanted to keep the BMW side of the wiring untouched, so I looked around and found the corresponding connector that fits the bike's wiring harness.

After poking around, I found that it's referenced as a Sumitomo HW-090 2-pin connector (Female on the wiring harness, and Male on the horn side).

I guess on the Denali horn side, the connectors are called 'blade connectors' or something? So with those on one end, I crimped the HW-090 Male on the other end, and this allowed for me to plug the horn into the BMW wire harness.

The connectors were very inexpensive. In fact, I had to order 2 and some additional bits/pieces to meet the $5 USD minimum so that the seller would ship to me (NJ to CA).

Aside from the connector, mounting the horn was easy. The mounting plate/bracket that the horn comes with is the same length that the black one that is on the stock horn. Both are too long for the Denali Soundbomb Mini, BUT you can slide the bracket up so that the horn fits, and then drill a third hole into the bracket to make it work.

@Medicine Man
There are several sites that sell this kind of adapter cable saying that it is compatible with BMW - but it looks like the G310R/GS do not use this connector.

I found out the hard way by purchasing the Denali adapter that was said to be compatible with BMW too, and found that the connector does not fit and is not plug-and-play.

If you check Twisted Throttle's product description, you will see that they make a note that it will not work with the G310R/GS
