It's taken a while for better/larger footpegs to filter through into the aftermarket sector. The standard ones are skinny, and I'm sure that we can all agree that they're no good for standing up for longer periods.

SW Motech released some adjustable ones, but they're still skinny/tapered, and not quite what I had hoped for. I noticed that Puig has recently released some Adventure ones which fit the bill perfectly, but am currently unable to purchase them online (it bites being in Australia sometimes!).

In the meantime, I've bought these adaptor plates (they go over the top of the OEM pegs) from eBay, and shock-horror, they actually fit and work VERY well!!! Everything aligns first go, everything fits, they're awesome to stand up on, and with the shift-lever adjusted properly, can shift cleanly in boots and shoes. Just be sure to use Loctite, and it's a cheap and effective solution!

Nice - do you have the reference number for the adapter plate on eBay?

This is so cool! Can you provide the links to the items on eBay?
