Something I've always been keen to do was ditch my Kriega tool-belt and store my tools, and repair stuff on the bike instead. The weight adds up and would rather it not be on me as it gets tiring on a long trip!
The main reason for purchasing the Givi pannier racks was that later on I'd be getting the Givi toolbox, knew it was a direct fit with minimal fuss, and their products are exceptionally well made. The total cost delivered from Germany (on eBay) was $200AUD, which I knew was good value.
The Givi parts descriptions aren't very clear, so the 2 items you need to buy is the S250 toolbox, and the S250KIT, which is the universal mounting bracket. You will need BOTH of these ok! These can be easily adapted to other racks btw because of the awesome adjustability.
I finally got my butt into gear and installed it this afternoon, so thought I'd share some pics for the curious of what it looks like all together. Everything is precision, rock-solid, the locking mechanism is like Fort Knox, and there's an impressive amount of space to fit everything needed inside. Fitment took half an hour and was very straight-forward btw. I'm stoked with this purchase, and would definitely recommend it to others.
