Wire wheels

The guys at Morocco rental business Loc2rues are running 310's with wire wheels and they are clearly not Rally Raid items, which must mean there is another option for the 310, possibly from a current or past BMW model - they had a fleet of Sertao models and perhaps it is Sertao rims which are shown in the photos below. Anyway, I don't know so opinions please!

I don't think they are G 650 GS Sertão rims. The G650 had a 1.6 x21" front with 90/90 R21 54S tires .. but did have a 3.00x 17" rear with 130/80 R17 65S tires though ??
650 had same brake discs set up with 300mm in front and 240mm in rear.

Would be interested to find out more about these mystery rims

The rims look like the old F650GS (2001-2007) wheels which had a 19 inch front wheel. The Sertao (or Dakar model) had a 21 inch front wheel.

Just to clarify, those are not Rally Raid's wheels - not sure what they are to be honest - someone more nerdy than I ought to be be able to tell what bike they are off from the design of the cush/sprocket carrier perhaps? - as Glencoeman suggests, they might be from an earlier [single cylinder] BMW 650GS with the rear flipped 180°? - although do consider that if they are from an older model then you're probably going to have trouble sourcing them.

For info. Rally Raid offer a dedicated heavy-duty set of spoked wheels designed to be a direct replacement and accept all the brake, ABS and cush-drive components from the stock wheels (and use the same size bearings and seals too) - brand new and warrantied (and with a tubeless option that has a 4 year warranty).

Probably had the rims made in Asia somewhere.... you would be surprised at the stuff they make for motorcycles. I think they recycle a lot of older foreign bikes and make them into something.
Possibly even had them made in India.
