Seat Concepts Seat!

Got my kit in from Seat Concepts and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I ordered the diamante top version and it has a very nice brushed leather look. This is not a full replacement seat, it comes with a new foam core, it's a bit softer and has a memory foam feel to it, and your choice of covers. You have to remove the factory foam and cover then glue the foam and staple the cover yourself. It was actually much easier than expected and the communication with Seat Concepts was excellent.

I didn't find the factory seat to be uncomfortable but I wanted to change the look. IMO this kit looks world's better than the stock seat and it does add comfort as well. I feel more planted in this seat, like it's conforming around me better.

Here's a link to their site. https://seatconcepts.com/products/bmw-2018-g-310-gs-r

Seat Concepts replaced my stock seat with their tall seat this morning. Then I rode ~250 miles on it. Butt bliss. And with my 32 inch inseam, I can still flat foot it. Just getting rid of the hump, and being able to scoot back and forth...

I'm awaiting a tall seat from SC. It looks great on the bike and I'm happy to hear a positive ride report. I'm curious about the auxiliary port beneath the seat. Is it a BMW accessory or aftermarket? Was it a DIY project?

DIY. It’s a Powerlet connector wired directly to the battery. I use it for my heated vest, tire pump, and battery tender.

Seems great ! Is it a full seat replacement or just foam and cover kit ? Can you share a link for this product I'm also interested in ?

That looks REALLY great. Especially with the hump gone. Wish I had the legs...

Good idea for the Powerlet location - a lot easier to get to for installation than what I did.

@LVPhx - that seat looks great! Seat Concepts makes outstanding products. I just installed one of their seat cover & foam kits for my Yamaha TW200 & wow! Night & day difference (both in looks & in comfort).
