Fed up - bike dropped

Getting my bike out to go to work this morning and dropped it outside my house.
Today is bin day, in this part of UK we have to put recycling out in different boxes, 1 for glass, 1 for plastic, 1 for cans and another for paper. whilst manoeuvring round these boxes I stumbled and dropped my bike, on top of the recycling boxes that seem to have saved the bike, Cant same same for recycling boxes, that going cost me £5 a box from council, no amount of gaffer tape going to fix them. Bike OK except for a couple of minor scrapes on handlebar end cap, end of mirror, rack at back and exhaust shield. What a f..... mess, not the bike the recycling materials all over.
Sorry moan over.
angiedave and G0MYW like this.

Well, that just goes to show that no good deed goes unpunished. You're being a responsible citizen by recycling -sorted recycling no less - and your beloved bike suffers as a result. Perhaps you should inform your council that their bloody bins caused your unfortunate accident and send them a bill for repairs to your bike.

What’s the exhaust like under the heat shield? My Duke has a similar exhaust system and it looks better without the heat shield
Not sure if it would work on the BMW though?
