Purchased one today from Welwyn Garden

So 50 years old, really excited to be on the couch to 10K ...and thats not a diet its the rookie to driver course they have here in the UK
Brilliant gets me hopefully on the road and not inside a shell all be it a nice shell (Porsche)
I think I am more excited about the bike than I was about the car..

Oh! Have you taken advantage of the rookie to rider scheme with BMW then?

Welcome to the forum.
Good luck with the tests, riding bikes is great fun. I've never felt as attached to my cars as i do for my bike :-D

It sound like a great deal they are doing. Good luck with it! Have you ever been on a bike before?

Congrats on the new g310r! There's just something about the freedom of motorcycles that makes driving a car feel somewhat lacking afterwards. Would like to see a pic of your new two wheels alongside your four wheeler.

Riding a bike versus driving a car is a world of a difference. It's like you've been missing out on life lol.

Just so liberating to ride on a motorcycle when weather permits and experience the great outdoors instead of in a metal box. Not arguing that there's plenty of fun to be had in a car, but there's such a difference when it comes to the feeling you get and nothing really compares to it IMHO.

Driving a car is like watching a movie, riding a motorcycle is like being in a movie.
