I test rode the G310 GS at two dealerships. LOVED IT!
My local dealer wanted $400 over MSRP! Found a dealer in NC that would sell it at MSRP without documentation fees. Coordinated the purchase with a trip to FL. I got a lot of looks and conversations with the bike in the back of my pickup during that trip! The best one was when the hotel valet attendant wanted to park it for me, "Sorry, it's staying strapped in". Of course I was concerned about theft... I had several sleepless nights worrying about that.
All of my vehicles have names. The Toyota Tercel 4WD is Esmeralda because of the way she can dance. The pickup is Djali as she can support Ezzi and tow her flat when needed. The G310 has been named Quasimodo, he looks kind of hunchbacked, is at times under estimated, and fits the theme.
I haven't done any serious riding in thirty years so I am taking it slow. I wait for the best climate and road conditions before heading out. The county where I live does not have a single traffic light! Most of the roads are single track asphalt or gravel. Lots of opportunities for fun close to home.
