Hello from Poland - G310R Cosmic Black

Hi there everyone, greetings from Poland. I just purchased my used G310R 2018r (1000 km) a month ago, to commute to work.

Welcome! From California. Enjoy the bike!
How long is your commute, and will you ride through the winters?

Welcome to the forum, you'll love the commute to and from work on the R.

Have you planned any modifications to the bike?

My journey, 25 km one way takes about 30 minutes. Average speed 45-50 km/h.
In winter temperatures are falling to -20 degrees Celcius.
Propably I'll not commute in winter. But who knows When the temperature rises above zero degree.

My planned mods:
- Akrapović exhaust
- adjustable clutch and brake levers
- still waiting for side stand extender ordered from China
- small windsheild - maybe

.

I got myself a side stand enlarger as well, but it was made for the GS, I cut it to suit the R foot, it works really well on soft ground.

Make sure your new clutch lever depresses the clutch switch, otherwise you will not be able to start in gear if you accidentally stall in traffic. Probably best to pay a bit extra and get adjustable levers from a reputable manufacturer, rather than cheap ebay ones. Levers are critical, you don't want to have cheap ones that break when you need them the most!

Weather should be getting nice in Poland at the moment. It's starting to get cold here in the mornings (12c) I warm my hands up at the stop lights by putting them near the exhaust
