I'm guessing the difference would be in the suspension and fairings? Everything else should be the same as they're pretty much the same bike.

Well there are a few other differences: the size of the front wheel and tire, mounting points of the rear brake and shift levers as well as foot pegs, fenders, etc. Who knows what else may be different? Bottom line: I'd want the service manual for the bike that I own.

Does BMW still sell paper service manuals or is everything digital these days? Or I could print it out. I'd probably prefer having sheets of paper to refer to while I'm working on something than touching a screen with greasy and dirty hands.

I don't really mind the digital versions, when I need a particular section for reference, I can print out just those pages. And reprint if they get dirty. There are always complete sections of a manual that are never used, so it saves having to print many pages, which gets expensive, too. I am sure the cost of printing these things is why most are digital nowadays.
My past few bikes, I use a 3-ring binder, and print off the maintenance schedule, then whichever section I am using gets added to the binder.
WoodWorks likes this.

Please I have to replace standard blinkers with original BMW blinkers led lights, can you send me pages to replace rear blinkers?
Thanks
David

Not as comprehensive as expecting, but maybe I haven't got the hang of it yet. Lots of highlighting, then checking boxes and going back and forth. But not bad for under $30.00!
Where did you score the service manual from as it's not available in Australia .

Search on eBay, make sure you search worldwide, not just Australia.

- eBay item 322370660573

there was another one available from the uk for around A$20, but the listing has ended

Would be great if there was a PDF version we could download somewhere especially since we can keep it on our phones for easier viewing

Would be good for BMW to give away some of their IP by making the service manual freely available, this would entice more people to buy the 310. Would be great if they could make it part of a phone app that combines, user manual, service manual, service schedule, bike hints and tips to get the younger customer base interested in the bike.
