Question Pilot Streets.

They're based on the Pilot Roads, which are for larger/heavier bikes, which in my experience is a superb tyre in dry or wet conditions.
I've not done enough miles on the Pilot Streets to be able to form a proper opinion yet, but so far, so good.

Any others?
Which ones do you prefer? I like the look of the Sportec M7 RR.

Anyone know what size front tyre they put on the red G310R on the bmw website: https://www.bmw-motorrad.com.au/en/m...ilable-colours (flick between the black and red variant to notice the difference).

The normal front tyre is a 110/70R17

Is the front tyre on the red one a 110/80R17? Can anyone see what brand of Pirelli tyre it is.

Hi porth,
By looking at the extra height when flipping from the black to the red you are right to guess it could be a 110/80...
Will it ship with this exact tire or is it just a photo shoot thing ?
The tyres look to be Pirelli Diablo Rosso II. Playing with the shadows and contrast, you can read a little better on the tires. See attached picture.

Hi,

I should be able to confirm the size of the Red BMW G310R tyres by the end of next week when I take delivery of a new Red G310R. I also did see the change in the Red G310R from the Black on the website but I thought it may have been a graphic change when the Red colour added to the 2019 line up. Why they would change the tyre size is unknown, sometimes manufactures will change the actual wheel sizes in a new years model but there has been no new specs released from BMW. Like all manufactures in the small print of advertising they reserve the right to change the specs. If the Red tyre size is different it will be interesting to see if this change is applied across the rest of colours in the range in post 2019 product.

I checked the BMW Motorrad UK website. If you flick between colors from black to red you can actually see the size of the bike increasing. Funny thing. Don’t know if it’s because the tire size on the red has actually changed. Want to know what the rationale is. Will it give the bike a better grip or stability??
