Hi, can anybody please advise me on how to adjust headlamp beam so i can actually see further ahead in the dark. Not just 12 feet in front of front wheel. Many thanks

It tells you how to adjust the headlamp on pages 42-44 of the owners manual.

Garage
mine was set too high.
the headlight was easily adjustable by just gently pushing up/down on the headlight to effect the adjustment.
did'nt even need to do p42-44.

Used to be that BMW headlights were horrible. I had a GS1150 for many years and driving at night was a terrible experience. The headlight was set up for HID, but used a regular, I think it was H7, bulb. I would try an LED if it comes with a halogen, or upgrade to an HID system if available. Night visibility is to important for safety IMHO.

I would try a bulb upgrade first. PIAA superwhite. Just a bulb, lifetime warranty much brighter than stock bulb. No additional wiring required. Relatively inexpensive.
