take it back to the dealer, it shouldn't make any undue noise. Did they install it?

Maybe something's trapped inside.
Seriously, "very noisy" is really odd.
I've had quite a few topcases, never had much for noise as my body usually blocks most of the airflow.
I'm guessing this occurs at higher speeds?
Maybe a Venturi effect causing it?

Hi Jose and congrats on the new bike.
Could you be a bit more specific about what type of noise the box makes?
Does it Rattle?
Does it whistle, like the wind whistles sometimes when you ride?
Does it only make a noise when you ride over a bump?
The cost of BMW top boxes are serious money and this should not happen.
You would expect the one I have fitted to my G310R to be noisy, its a cheap Chinese one from a previous bike (30 new, see pic,) but it is sturdy, silent and I have no problem with it.
Sorry my fellow biker, it looks like it will have to go back to the dealer,

Did you use a separate plate to mount the shad top case? Or the one included in the package already sufficient? Planning to buy the Shad SH45 for the GS. Thank you.

Check this link, I have got the BMW top box and it doesn't require any rack and it's vibration free.
