Hi all

Well, my neighbour who is a huge off road fan with a couple of Ducati's, gave me a jacket he does not use anymore.
It is not the top of the line, but it is so light and cool, compared to my Fieldsheer.

It is the MotoBoss Airspeed 4. I have the option to remove the armor.
So now I'm looking for pants, gloves and boots.
I would prefer boots that did not were not so big where I cannot 'feel' the shift.
But I need protection also.I'm used to riding with sneakers.
Also the gloves should offer protection but allow me to 'feel' the throttle, clutch and brake.
The pants should be mesh like the jacket I have.
Remember I live in a temperate climate for the most part. Even the winter I would just need to
add another shirt. Not really much freezing her. 95F plus in the summer...

I'd like to hear your recommendations..

Have a great week!

Clear skies & tail winds!

Well I ware Klim Outrider pants ( about $175 ) with D3O armor in hips and knees very durable and can be worn over jeans etc if you want. They are fairly stiff even after washing multiple times but are the best non leather motorcycle pants I have owned but can get warm.
Gloves I ware are AlpineStars SP8 but I am looking for some hot weather gloves as we speak mine are pretty warm full gauntlet style
My boots I love.... but alas I dont think they are available anymore ( I should have bought 2 pairs ) MSR ( Malcolm Smith Racing ) link to review .... https://www.dirtrider.com/msr-dual-sport-boot-review I got mine new for less than $100 on clearance ...... I ride the GS both On and Off road so I want protection and comfort

Sorry but most of my stuff is geared towards On-Off Road protection and comfort

One thing I forgot to mention, I recommend a jacket with a collar. I had one without and got hit in the throat at freeway speeds by a bug that nearly knocked me out.

No kidding. In June the dragonflies are out in force near the rice fields in the Sacramento Valley of northern California. And hitting one of those suckers at 70 mph...

It's one of the reasons I have always ridden with a full-face helmet.

I HIGHLY recommend the BMW Venting jacket. It's made of cordura mesh, which is abrasion resistant, and is almost completely perforated. Comes with the D30 armor in shoulders and elbows and the back plate can be ordered separately. Keeps cool with the airflow, and is light enough that you're not dying of heat once you put it on.
