Ok full disclosure: I've argued with Jenny a bunch on other forums although at the moment I can't remember what we were arguing about.
I love Rally Raid's products but at the risk of being a Negative Nancy... I wouldn't hold your breath. We're still waiting for the promised footpeg relocation brackets and rally fairing 3 or 4 years later over on the CB500X forums
. Rally Raid makes some awesome stuff to fix the big ticket issues that they've already solved before on other bikes such as wheels, crash protection, suspension, and luggage racks. There's a bunch of retooling that has to happen for new bikes but at least it's re-doing something they're already very good at. But the other stuff that's a one-off development program just for one specific bike takes a lot of time and as Jenny pointed out there are new bikes coming out all the time.
For example, just for this year the CB500X comes from the factory with a 19" front wheel now which means they need to scramble to make sure their product line works for the new bike. And the new 2019 KTM 690 won't necessarily fit their old fairing designs and in some places that bike is only just becoming available now which doesn't leave RR much time to redesign parts if they want them to be available during this riding season!
As I said I love Rally Raid's products - we've had their stuff on 3 bikes now and it's always been fantastic. But I'd be pretty surprised if the shifter and the brake lever actually end up happening.
