although the zombie apocalypse scenario gives me ideas...no, i don't want to spoil the original look of the pipe. i am just worried about the heat, anyway i contacted a specialist in England and he told me that for ~200 euros i could coat the pipe. he said that his product offers a 25% heat reduction. i don't know if it's worth the trouble..

I don't think it gets blistering hot in England (I do not know). What color are you thinking of coating it?

2018 BMW G310GS White
2017 Hyosung GD250R Black/Gray
2016 KTM RC390
2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 SE (sold)
2008 Hyosung GT250R (crashed)
199x Kawasaki Ninja 250 (engine failure)

the technician i contacted is in England, i live in Greece. i don't think that the ambient temperature affects the pipe that much. i was thinking about black coating but finally i don't think it's worth the trouble, i ll trust the original BMW design and we ll see what happens..
