Not understanding tire wear

Don't know what to make of this because frankly I've never seen a wear pattern like this before. There is definitely more wear on the right side than left. The back looks great. Odd. Anyone ever see uneven wear like this before?

that's odd, what about your front suspension? are both "fork legs" working ok? did you notice any oil leaks?

Are you sure it's not the other right? seems like there is more wear on the left side of the tyre direction of travel, this could be due to the camber of the roads, I assume you ride on the right side of the road from your tyres.

I don't see it.
Little nubbies are still on both sides of the tire.

From those photos, there does appear to be a slight bias to run on the left side of the tyre (with respect to forward direction travel of the bike) - how does it track if you take your hands of the bars? Pull to the left?

Bottom line - you have a new bike, you really don't need to anything other than go back to the dealer and point it out for them to correct.

Anyway, I'd be suspecting something is slightly out of alignment somewhere - rear wheel, or perhaps maybe with front forks even. Check that front forks are not at slightly different heights out of the top yoke.

Yeah I donít see it either, but its hard to tell in photo. But could be your ridding style maybe?

In the long ago days of dodging dinosaurs with a R65, the front tire always wore out faster on the left side. Most miles in those days were interstate commuting with other shots of the slab thrown in. The wear was common with other riders and blamed on everything from the front/rear offset, shaft drive and road crown. It was common then and apparently still is. I am guessing, since you use Mr. Teach's name, you are in the US and derive on the right side of the road. Amazingly, the side car rig doesn't have this. It probably comes from making the left lean to compensate for road crown.
