Be warned

I recently bought a tail light modulator for my BMW 310 from Kisan Tech.

Andy assured me that the one he recommended was the correct one, however my mechanic could not install it and it turned out they sent the wrong one.

When I call then Andy said they would send the correct one but I had to pay for it and shipping.

My mechanic had a phone conversation with Andy and Andy said numerous negative things about BMW and the “screwey” way they do things. After that conversation we decided to return both modulators for a refund, assured by Andy.

Well they only refunded part of my purchase price, this is why I am warning you all about their shoddy service. Years ago I bought a Signal Minder from them, there were 2 ways you could install it and I plugged it in the wrong way (they have since changed the design so you can not install in backwards) Andy ripped into me when I called, so I ate the cost and purchased from another manufacturer.

Headlight and tail light modulators are great safety devices and I swear by them, but I will never purchase from or recommend Kisan.

Noted. I can confirm the vizi-tech SupaBrake III modulator works perfectly in the G310, and he has great customer service.

Pretty darn easy, Paul. No soldering. Plugs right into BMW brake light wiring harness. Contact vizi-tech directly to get correct model.

Kisan is an old school company from a time when they were the only kids on the block selling a specialty product. You had to buy from them regardless of how much of an a$$hole he is. They fail to realize they now have competition and have not increased their levels of customer service stand out from the others. Go elsewhere and chalk it up to a poor experience.

Garage
Had a Kisan modulator on my VStrom. It failed well out of warranty. Kisan replaced it at a discount. Happy with their service (and product) and they are my first choice for the product types they sell.

YMMV.
