Fitted the R&G Tail Tidy and Micro Indicators! Pics!

I love everything about this bike except the hideous fender and at least here in the US, the stock indicators are obnoxiously long. So, I decided to clean it up with an R&G Tail Tidy, as well as a pair of MotoGadget mini indicators. The install was a breeze and the setup is super clean. All can be found on Revzilla. Photos below, including what the bike in Pearl White looks like with the decals removed should you prefer that look.

Looks good! Did you have to cut anything from the stock liner?

Very nice indeed. Are the tiny turn signal lights bright/noticeable enough to feel comfortable with?

Nope, nothing cut from the liner. The tail tidy comes with everything you need to replace the body work that you need to remove from the tail. The only thing I had to cut from the original bike was the wiring, but the indicators and tail light setups both came with bullet connectors so it was really easy.

The new tail lights are actually brighter than stock. They are amazing little things. You really can’t look at them directly too close or they’ll hurt your eyes. I’m going to get a second pair for the front, for sure. 100% recommend them.

Thank you! That was the only thing that was stopping me because I couldn’t find any info on it. I just ordered mine!

@nhbmw

THANK YOU! This is *exactly* what I was thinking of doing - tail tidy and motogadget turn signals. So you said that the turn signals did not need any additional wiring? Did you have to put in resistors? Did it come with resistors? Or do they run fine without any?

The indicators came with inline resistors so I didn’t need to modify anything to set the correct blink rate. They just correctly blink out of the box. No other wiring or computer reset needed. Pretty spiffy!
