Vibrations/Buzz around 4.2 K rpm

Hi,
Anyone experiencing buzz or vibrations around 4.2K rpms? I have an r.
I came across a post where few riders have reported the same for dash around 4.2 K rpm.
Vibrations and buzz above 6 K are well known.
What have you done to resolve it?

Check you mirrors, mind did that and it was the glass coming loose and rattling in the housing.

Garage
I had a similar buzz...
Ride along a quiet road at 4200 rpm, with your hand touch the front dash/panel(s).
you'll soon find where the buzzing comes from.
I just added some dense foam to stop it... Not very technical, but it's all quiet now.!

Does it come on handlebar as well for you?
Where have you added the foam. I will take that ride on weekend and try to find the source of the buzz.

The glass vibrating in the mirror mount is not confined to the BMW G310 models I had a BMW F800R and the mirrors are the same type and I had the same problem and when I went for my test ride on a BMW G310R last week a customer was waiting to have his mirrors replaced under warranty on a BMW GS 1250 and you could hear the glass rattle when he tapped the glass with his hand it has been a design fault with this type of mirror.
I think anybody who has ridden any motorcycle with a large or small engine will know that at a certain engine speeds there will be a RPM that produces a vibration or buzz, all engines will do this but on a single it becomes more noticeable. In my experience you ride through the RPM that gives the problem, it only becomes an issue if the vibration is at a speed which is at a speed limit like 70mph in the UK.

The exhaust is attached on the right side which creates a lot of vibrations and that resonates with a lot of people complaining about the vibrations on the right side of the handlebar and the rear foot pegs.
