Fuel Cap (quick one)

Just a quick question
When using the fuel cap do you have to use the key to close/lock it ?
All the other BM's we have you push the cap and it closes and locks , but on the 310 the locking part of the cap inside is not sprung loaded .

Yep. You have to leave the key in the gas cap, and turn it when you close the cap.
G0MYW and Britmech like this.

Thanks for confirming that's the way they are/work.

Most find the gas cap don't lock to easy so I put small amount of grease in the workings found that helps, I also put the strap of my glove thru the key ring then it keeps the cap back while filling the tank.
