As the smaller KTM use the same make calipers , why have they not had the same issue ?

Are the BMW version of calipers cheaper ?

Probably the KTMs have the same issue, however as KTM riders are known never to ride when the weather gets colder, there is no problem, haha.

Just bought a 310R and dealer could not deliver due to the Recall. Now they are saying the fix could take months? Any update?

You're due a refund, surely. At least my dealer, whilst two days earlier denying knowledge of a long standing recall last year, was finally honest enough to tell me the model in stock would be fixed at some indefinite point in the future before I paid. No sale there I'm afraid.

BMW letter says recall notice will send out to all US customers in late September. I guess the parts should be ready before that.

Let us know if anyone get a timing on the parts. I assume the actual time to complete the recall should not be more than a day.
