Raising handlebars or changing them?

I've seen that a few people on this forum have changed the handlebars on the 310r. I'd like to have the handlebars a little higher and possibly a little bit closer. What combination of risers and bars-stock or other, or just other bars, would be best for a shortish, beginner rider?
I know that width has an effect also, so maybe a narrower set of bars would be helpful.

Rox risers are much superior to Wunderlich. what i have done is a combinaion of RR bars and Rox risers. but Rox risers with stock bars give you enough rise... but, let me think...oh, yes, I added 1 more inch to to the rox risers ( another riser

as you love riding, you need to love you bike

I don’t see the g310r listed as being compatible on the rox site.

Change them. I installed the Yamaha MT-07 handlebars on the G310R. It's way more comfortable.

any risers with 22mm base will work. I would suggest 3 inches.
