hi guys
i have recently purchased a g310r as a courier bike to do food delivery (actually to have fun rather than making money)
i have ridden around 100 kms this week on it and i found myself always shift to neutral accidentally between first and second gear, but when i shift clutchless its not happening.
i m not particularly new rider i have commuted on a cbr300r for the last few years, it rarely happens.
i have also noticed while i m in gear i if i pull the clutch in sounds like there is a delay of the clutch disengaged, the rpm doesnt drop to idle immediately but after around 1 second
am i not familiar enough with the bike yet or its happening to everyone?
thanks in advanced
The slow return to tickover is one of the "benefits" of fuel injection, can be interesting on entering a slow corner, a carb would give immediate shutdown under the spring pressure.
You'll get used to it, plus the effect seems to reduce as the mileage rises.

"I would be demanding my satisfaction at the dealership"
Indeed, but that seems to be mission impossible. I've heard more bullshit and utter nonsense from BMW dealers over the last eighteen months than from all other dealers over the last fifty years. They will deflect any comment rather than act on it . This appears to be the norm as far as I can gather on here.
In America you start a lemon law action before suffering that and make BMW take the bike back.
I made GM buy back a Corvette back after 18 months.
A lot wrong in this country, however in most of it the consumer protection laws are still pretty good. The lemon law is federal statute. Even just threatening to go that way is usually enough to get satisfaction. I have unfortunately had to do it a few times, thankfully only once with a vehicle.
As an aside, this has not been my experience with BMW motorcycle dealers and service. I haven't heard of people having to go higher than the regional service rep to get satisfaction. Even that seems rare. Given the number of $20k+ R12GSA's out there and their maintenance appetite BM can't have gone all bad.
Hi, I've been experiencing the same misshift problem and I almost have 3000 km on my bike.
