Broken Dash

So it finally happened. After 8 months of enjoying the heck out of my 310r, I took a low-speed spill and shattered my dash

In addition to fixing my confidence on the bike, I need to fix this! Has anyone here had experience with this repair or advice to point me in the right direction?

Much appreciated in advance.

The unit sans mounting hardware is $604 at Bobs and is a one piece unit. It appears from the best I can see the picture, you will need the display. If only the clear cover, you might be able to remove it and make one from plastic.

I would look for a used unit, e.g. on Ebay:

2016 C 650 Sport and 1976 (!) Yamaha XS650
2005 Husqvarna 510 SMR, 2004 Husaberg 550 Supermotos

Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned I have the 2019. Do you know if the 2018 is interchangeable? I'm not the most savvy with electrical either - do I run the risk of botching something by running a new unit?

Cheers.

compare the part numbers on the sticker of your unit to the one on eBay....

if they match you are ok.

but be advised you may need the dealer to program the new unit to your locale (km vs mph etc.)

It looks like the unit just has two plugs to undo/do. No electrical work necessary. You may want to check with the vendor on the need to go to the dealer yes or no.
