If you like unique and rare, this is it. This is the only XTZ750 ever known to have been imported by Yamaha into the United States. Though a big seller in other parts of the World this bike has never been offered to the US market. This particular bike was imported from Canada to be tested and photographed for a feature article in the September 1990 issue of Cycle Magazine, an original copy of which was included with the bike. As the story goes, after use by the magazine the bike ended up at a dealership in Florida where it stayed, ridden on occasion, for more than 10 years. As the dealership was later closing it was purchased by a Florida collector. In late 2013 it was sold to friend of mine and shipped to his home in Montana. I purchased it from my friend in late 2014 and brought it home to Southwest Washington state.
