While some are wanting to increase tooth count on the counter shaft sprocket in order to raise the gear ratio, I have purchased a 15 tooth sprocket in order to lower the starting ratio.... This will not help with top speed but will help with starting out, especially going up hill...

I’m not sure about top speed. I could not pull the hills here in 6th gear before changing to a15 tooth gear. Now it flies up in 6th with no problem. I’m sure I could take 6th to redline now if I wanted. Most of my riding is below 70 mph so top speed is not a concern. 1st gear is great for starting out now. Also mpg’s have not suffered. My actual mileage is actually about 3 mpg better with the 15 tooth.

Just wondering where you live?

I've had the bike out on track for 15min sessions being pushed hard and no signs of overheating. Also done 3hrs at 110kphish type motorway speeds with no issues with heat and lots of 1.5hr rides with no overheating issues and that's including redlining 6th gear in 80 degree weather...

Wemoto may be a good suplier, but they don't have a 17T sprocket for the G310GS, only 15T. At least according to their parts listing.
