I have a 2019 G 310 GS with about 1700 miles on it. It has some upgrades, including auxiliary lights, adjustable levers, headlight cage, lower crash bars, and windscreen,. I’m planning on setting it up for better adventure, riding with upgrading rear shock, front forks, and exhaust.I have purchased those parts but have not had them installed. I recently came across an almost brand new. I have purchased those parts but have not installed. I recently came across an almost brand new 2022 with quite a few upgrades already. Including Rally raid front forks, I’m not sure what level, and a rear shock taken off R 9t, rally raid crash bars and skid plate. I’m debating if it’s worth going through the hassle of getting the newer bike and selling my old one. I’d hate to be stuck with two. Any thoughts ?
LED lighting is a big plus on the 2022 IMO (although replacing any of the led lighting is expensive!)...but loosing the switchable ABS is a downer if you plan on hitting the dirt a lot.

The suspension upgrades you described on the 2022 are really only an advantage if the spring rates are right for your weight...maybe check with the seller what rider weight it's been set up for?

Maybe stick with your 2019 and put the money towards a level 2 rally raid suspension kit...it's the best thing you can do to the g310gs IMHO.
