2019 vs 2022 upgrade. Is it worth the hassle?

Two years ago, I bought and highly upgraded a 2022 G310GS. At this point, I don't think there is anything BMW could offer in a next generation G310GS to tempt me out of the bike I have now.

Based on my own experience and what I've read in this forum and others, I don't think there is anything you could do with a 2022 model that you can't also do with a 2019 model. So...I recommend you focus on the bike you have now, install the upgrades you have, and ride the heck out of it. After you have a blast doing that and put some serious miles on it, you'll know if it meets you needs or not and what to do about it.

P.S. You should read what JMo & Piglet did on her 2018 model...

IMHO, I would upgrade just for the slipper clutch alone. I have both the 2010 R1200RT with a dry clutch and the 2022 G310R with the slipper clutch. I like the 2022 G310R far better than I do the clutch on the 2010 R1200RT. Yes I know there is a major difference between wet and dry clutches. But being able to down shift quickly on the G310R without rear tire losing tracking and chirping is phenomenal. If I am slowing down quickly on the R1200RT and I down shift too fast and release the clutch, you'll hear the rear tire chirp.
If the Gen1 G310GS had a dry clutch, I would agree with this, but it doesn't and I don't. Both the Gen1 and Gen2 G310GS have wet clutches, so the only benefit is that Gen2 has a slipper clutch. The slipper clutch is nice, but it's not such big a leap beyond a wet clutch that I would sell a bike I already own to buy a new bike.
