Apparently four Tyco Racing bikes were stolen from a transport truck on Sunday. The bikes were being shown on display at the Motorcycle Live Show and they were prepped to be sent back to headquarters but unfortunately they got stolen before that...

Where would you possibly be able to ride these things? Even if you strip them down and try to sell the parts, you wouldn't be able to whilst keeping them unnoticed.

The four stolen bikes were:

  • Ian Hutchinson's treble winning Superstock specification Tyco BMW S1000RR – that won races at the NW200, Isle of Man TT and Ulster Grand Prix as well as finishing second in the British Superstock Championship in Tyco BMW livery.
  • Christian Iddon's Tyco BMW S1000RR British Superbike – complete with very exclusive Suter Swingarm in Tyco BMW livery
  • Guy Martin's Isle of Man TT Tyco BMW S1000RR Superbike – in Tyco BMW livery
  • Christian Iddon's Tyco BMW S1000RR Superstock test bike – in plain white livery

****, that's unfortunate. Problem is, someone out there will buy the parts even if it looks sketchy. Whoever buys them will just think they're were lucky enough to come across performance parts. The bikes are a goner.

But how lax was the security for people to steal four racing bikes unnoticed?

Right? That's what I don't understand. How were they just left in a truck completely unattended for the length of time it would have taken to unload 4 race bikes.
