Has anyone installed an alarm on their bike? I've looked at a few online and saw one that looks like it works well for around $70. I'm kind of paranoid to take it anywhere where it will be unattended or out of sight for too long.

No idea about quality or effectiveness, but I have come across this one, which looked interesting:

I use a Kovix KAL6 alarmed disc lock, it fits well under the seat when not in use.
