Anyone using saddle bags?

Bought a new GS -21 a month ago and is now looking at different luggage alternatives. I want soft bags and have my eyes on Kriega OS-12 or 18, Enduristan Blizzard L or Mosko Moto Reckless (40 or 80).
Would be glad to here your thoughts in this matter.

I'm a fan of SW-Motech's offering and the quality of their products, mounts and designs.

Though, a lot of their stuff is aimed more at street and less at trail.

I agree. Very good and durable products that fits well on your bike. But their panniers and bag-range doesn’t seem to be aimed at the more adventurous rider.

My current bags for sure are on-road.

As I increase my camping and fire road trips this spring/summer, I will be looking at their DryBag line.
I'm looking at a modular luggage system to go from one day to multi-weeks trips. I'm looking at either a Kriega OS combo and the Mosko Moto Reckless 80. They both seem very rugged and offer a flexible setup.

Any feedback from experience on either would be great!

Thanks!

OEM racks and bags are available, not what you need for RTW but okay for a night or two away with additional dry bag.

The RH bag is smaller than the LH due to the exhaust. Meh! Still, they work for me.

I went the economical route with Nelson-Briggs and Givi side racks. I’ve used them mostly for commuting but plan to start some weekend camping trips this summer. I like them better than I thought I would and they held up well the first year of use.

Don’t have soft bags, but I’ve got a full Givi setup on the 310

I have the BMW ones that mount via SW-Motech SLC side carrier

Mosko Moto Reckless 80: Used for a 7,000 mile trip from NC to MS to Nova Scotia and back to NC, included the NEBDR. Also just did the Smokey Mountain 500.

I also have a 30L Mosko Moto Duffle/Pack that replaces my Stinger 22L when camping.

Recently switched to their Gnome Tank Bag because it doesn't interfere with standup riding.

Hi Pondhawk. Which bags exactly are on these pictures? I'm quite interested but not sure they sell them in Europe.. And about the exhaust: you didn't experience any damage due to heat? I see that your exhaust pipe is slightly changed (oriented downwards), is it with the thing included in Givi side rack kit?
