I decided to use a spare Shin Yo LED rear stop and brake light that I had off a bike I sold.
I rarely take my top box off and thought does this top box (the way it overhangs) partially obscure my stop light when stopped in traffic from high vehicles coming up behind me etc. You know, say if you where in the cab of a large truck, bus or whatever you're sat higher up in the cab.

So with the UK weather, as usual Rain, Rain, and more Rain over the washout Easter Holidays I've been busy in the garage.
I had to make two small L Shaped brackets to attached it to the underside of the top box plate and there s a small hole at the back of the seat
release cable, just wide enough to thread the wire through.(you have to give it a tug cos its a tight fit) Wiring up was easy, 3 wires from the shin yo, three wires on the Brake/Stop Harness (where the tool kit goes- face the handlebars, it's to the right of the compartment.) I didn't use positaps the time (not enough room) I used 3 of those strap over connectors (scotch connectors?) and taped and zip tied up out the way.
It's probably an unnecessary mod but the shin yo brake light is very bright and since I already had it lying around why not use it.

Any mod where you can be seen better is not unnecessary, but smart. With today's drivers seemingly more distracted.I have added Bikevis
Bullet Leds front and back. Amber on the front and red on the back.

Tickster. Sounds a good idea, is there a pic?
Due to an unusually long winter and late spring, she is still in hibernation.
Driving me crazy here not being able to ride it yet.
Will post pics when she is on the road, hopefully soon.:surprise:
