Are the bar slider bolts threaded normal(right tight, left lose) or reverse?

Righty tighty, lefty loosey.
Thanks much. I’ve not dealt with theses before so wasn’t sure how they worked. They seem awfully tight and I don’t wanna strip them. Ride safe.

They can be tight, turn the bar ends (by hand) and the bolt at the same time, this can help

Lol, I struggled with these too.
Gave up with the L shaped hex key.
Used a socket hex and had to wrap the bar ends with tape(they started to spin) and hold them with vice grips.

Yeah I’m gonna use tape on the end and ill use a soceket hex as well, thx.

On my GS my bar end weights have Torx headed screws. Sadly for me I didn’t know this and put a hex Allen key in and started trying to loosen..... stripped the inside of the socket so now nothing would fit. Ended up having to drill out the head and replacing it with a hex socket head screw! A 5 minute job ended up taking 1 hour!
