P.S. The above videographer does not mention that based on the G 310 GS, the US (and Euro?) price tends to be about double the India price. That said, I don't think 2 x $5,716.21 USD = $ 11,432.42 USD would be competitive with other 400-500cc bikes. Fingers crossed that that pushes the price down. Of course, Trump's tariffs may make it cost prohibitive to import or buy the F 450 GS to/in US for the foreseeable future. 🤬

If it ends up being anywhere close to that price, it will have to have cruise control. Actually, to be competitive with the KTM Adv R (which has cruise control) at any price, the F 450 GS will have to have cruise control.

Think we'll get lucky there. India is a buddy, compared to countries with huge trade deficits with USA. Good job it's not being built in EU or China however.

In Ireland the F900GS is priced at €17,950.97, the F800 GS is priced at €15,740.98 and the G 310GS is priced at €8,415 going by that I'd say €11,000 could be a possibility for the F450 GS here.
€11,000 = $11,415.25

2 x India price point = $ 11,432.42

One of us is off by $17.17...😁

They've restarting production, but there's a half billion dollar payment that must be paid by May 2025...

I think because of the emissions rule in the EU, the stock that's already assembled will be all shipped to the USA and therefore I think alot of bargains are about to hit your market as well. They clearly need cash and I can't see them scraping them.

Even at 11k, if the bike comes with things like a decent bash plate, good suspension, decent seat, cruise control, heated grips, and tubeless tires, I'd pay that to get a light bike with decent power. And it wouldn't bother me that I could pick up a T7 or a really discounted KTM 790 because I just don't want the weight and I don't need the excess power.

I agree, though based on past experience and concept bike photos, we'll have to upgrade the engine, tank, and hand guards via the aftermarket.
Yeah I mean bark busters and skid plates are always needed. I'm not a fan of crash bars but we'll see how vulnerable this bike is once we have it. It would be nice if the suspension is quality. That probably matters the most to me considering the quality of the Rally Raid setup on my current bike.

I've been asking my BMW dealer, Eurosport Asheville, about the F450GS every time I stop by. Today, I stopped by to pick up a few G310GS parts (shift and brake pedal bushings to correct their looseness). Eurosport thinks we'll see 2026 F450GSes in the fall of 2025 or early 2026. What's more, they were now willing to take deposits (fully refundable if I change my mind), so I became the first at my dealer (in the US?) to put down a deposit on a 2026 F450GS. What's the benefit of doing this: Last time I put down a deposit was on my 2021 S1000XR Sport Version during COVID; at that time, they explained that putting down a deposit puts me and my bike in front of non-deposit or later-deposit bikes for production, shipping, and delivery. Now my official waiting starts; in the meantime, I'll be riding the heck out of my G310GS!

Interesting. Thank you for the update. Did they mention any details on options for the bike? Will it have spoked wheels? Cruise control available?

No. None of my usual sources has anything beyond the BMW's Concept F450GS Press Release (which I shared in Post #1 of this thread) and their knowledge about how/when BMW typically rolls out new models.
I do know one BMW salesperson who has listed her G310GS for sale in prep for buying an F450GS, but she also has other GS bikes, so it doesn't really give us an indicator on timing.

But yeah....of course...if this thing is 11 grand then might as well buy a Tenere.
Not for me: I don't want the T7's extra 66 lbs of weight and its top heavy design. I'm willing to pay extra for components and design that keep the weight low and under 400 lbs.

Thanks for that info Jerry. That bike is on my radar as well. And you are lucky to have Eurosport Asheville as a dealer. I visit Asheville 4-5 times a year and always stop in. Unfortunately I don’t have a good dealer where I live.
