It's a little too brightly colored for me but still nice.
Only stunt I can probably do is this one and only if I accidentally brake too hard. :grin2:

Definitely not something I would do but looking at how well the color scheme was put together, it was all tastefully done, which is what matters. Those same colors can be used in such a way that makes it look tacky... but that didn't happen.
They did a great job applying the brazilian flag colors to the bike design. Maybe we'll see a few more customized bikes representing the owner's country.

I wouldn't mind seeing a toned down version of this captain american color scheme on a 310R:

what im curious about is how mechanically similar are the concept bike and the actual G310R...

That's a good question, visually I can't spot anything that seems different, as for the internals... that will be hard to find out.
The stunt concept bike was apparently fitted with a lot of stunt mods: vertically mounted exhaust, footrest, twin rear brake calipers, a flat front race plate and crash bars to name a few.
Not sure if any of that made it into the production model.
The vertically mounted exhaust is definitely not in the production model and that's fine. Most of us won't be performing stunts on the g310r but I am interested in the suspension they used if it's not the stock set.
What do you guys think the chances are that they'll bring it to shows that the regular G310 is at? Even if it's just the Stunt G310 sitting still on the show floor and not in action.
Very likely. BMW showed the Path 22 alongside the production model of their Scrambler so I don't see why they wouldn't do the same with the g310r. It's a way to show buyers what they can possibly turn the stock bike into.

That's a good point and going with that there might be a chance that we more signs that they want to go for that whole personalization and custom angle.
Are the customization options going to come from BMW or is it mostly going to be aftermarket stuff?
I think it's going to be aftermarket stuff but I may be wrong since I haven't seen any stunt oem parts from BMW yet.
The BMW Concept Stunt G 310 therefore contains some characteristics of his own bike, and even some parts from it too.
So a few parts are from Chris Pfeiffer's own bike. They haven't even released a list of parts yet so doubt BMW is going to sell them.
Yea, that large radially-mounted rear brake caliper probably costs too much for the g310r.
This picture prove that you don't need a stunt specific bike to be able to do front wheelies. Not something I would try.

Definitely don't need a specific bike or stunt-oriented bike to do stuff like that. But like you said, I definitely wouldn't be attempting things like that lol, a bit too high on my crazy level
All about skill level as a rider and this bike isn't exactly the main choice of those looking to do stunts, but you are of course far more likely to see this with a GSX R1000. It's just that here you don't find that many people willing to do stunts.
