I definitely see them re-tuning it like the article says will probably happen. Just makes more sense to tune it for what it's intended for rather than just swap the engine into it the same way it "sits" in the G310 R. Either that or people will just have to do it themselves when they get them.

Why detune an engine with 313 cc's that is already torquey for its size? They'd have to go thru EPA and Euro emissions testing. Bet the GS is a way to cash in on the Adventure theme

Its basically a well played out chess game. If it was the other way around, how would the G310R sell? Not that great, right? These bikes are cheap enough that an impulse buy is easy. Thankfully patience is on my side.. i'll wait for the GS.
