well that's odd, BMW doesn't plan to sell the G310GS in India even though it'll be produced alongside the G310R at the TVS Hosur plant. Think this applies to all of Asia?

Oh my i hope not. Waiting for this bike here in the philippines. Time to graduate from 150cc bikes and the g310 gs is on top of my list.

Now that is really weird. But they do mention that "as of now" there are no plans.. maybe they'll change their mind closer to global releases?

Looks like that text message may not be all that accurate. india.com received confirmation from BMW India stating that both the G310R and G310GS will be sold in India. Here's the gist of it behind that giant watermark:

We are presently in the process of setting up the business operations in India and finalising the launch dates for the BMW G310R and G310GS.”

So contradictory information indeed. I would likely go with what they told india auto though as they're a bigger publication?
