Already on sale in certain markets, the India-made BMW G310R can now be purchased by riders in Taiwan for a starting price of NT $269,000. That’s around $8,859 USD in today’s currency exchange rate and noticeably more expensive compared to other countries.

Perhaps due to local import fees the price seems higher than normal, but RushLane claims the pricing is still comparable to the KTM Duke 390, Kawasaki Z300 and Yamaha MT-03.

Looking at the Taiwan spec G310R, all features appears to be the same including the single-cylinder, four-stroke 313 cc engine, delivering 34 hp @ 9,500 rpm and 21 lb-ft @ 7,500. Power is still delivered to the wheels via a 6-speed transmission and overall weight remains a light 158.8 kg. That’s because the motorcycle still employs a steel frame, upside-down telescopic forks, along with other bits and bobs.

Of course ABS still comes standard, preventing the 300 mm front and 200 mm rear brake discs from locking up. Emission standards still complies with EU-4 regulations as well.

Rollout may be taking some time and if you’re curious about the G310R’s availability in your country, the list below should answer that question.
