(no the header image is not the actual bike)
It doesn't take much to connect the dots.
Word broke that BMW's Indian partner TVS would debut their own fully faired version of the BMW G310R next month at Auto Expo 2016.
What does that mean for BMW though?
First things first. TVS is only a manufacturing partner, all engineering responsibilities fall firmly to BMW. It is BMW developing this bike for TVS and not vice versa.
Couple that with the fact that BMW said some time ago that the G310R platform would spawn a full suite of models including ADV and sporty stylings. It's not hard to imagine that the bike codenamed U69 is a fully faired BMW G310R in waiting.
A sportier option would give BMW a competent machine to fight the like of the Yamaha R3, Honda CBR300R, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the KTM RC390.
