The BMW G310 is now open for bookings in Indonesia so if any forum members are from there, you can put your name down for one now!
Not sure if this is a BMW Motorrad store in Indonesia but it looks great with the bikes mounted up.

Great display but did they at least have some on the ground? People really serious about buying one won't give a F*** about some artistic display, we want to see first hand what we could potentially spend monies on.

Yea.. I don't think I could have said that better myself.

Screw the display. Put one on the floor and let me touch it. *poke*

They better be reading this. Engagement is key and I can get the same (actually better) out of a poster of the bike.
At least with orders in now the odds of seeing more on the ground with us being able to sit on them will grow.

One of the first to place an order should get a thread going... ex. "who placed an order"... and the details follow.

maybe those guys will get an invite to sit on one :D

That's probably one of the few higher end dealerships out there and why they display everything like that. Your local motorcycle dealership will just stick the g310r on the showroom floors with a "you tip, you buy" sign stuck on it.

Those signs are perfectly acceptable and make sense lol, There's also a lot of nut jobs out there that'll just go and try to do something stupid without realizing it as well.

Or they could have at least put up the white g310r to match. That's what I would do if that store was mine but I'm too poor to open up my own... I do like the dual exhaust from the nine T but if I were to stick it on the g310r I'd have to move it lower so it's not so close to the seat.

I'm not too sure how I'd like that dual exhaust.. I just can't imagine it there. I think it'll look really odd. Maybe something like what's on the F800R

That exhaust is much more sleek than the large black one on the g310r. Makes you wonder why BMW stuck an exhaust that looks disproportionate to the rest of the bike.

Yup, even if for nothing else than aesthetics. The stock exhaust is pretty ugly but I wouldn't go for something expensive like an akra or yoshi. Just something smaller that won't sound horrible.

Hey at least they give us a good excuse to spend money on something aftermarket :D

Anyone can afford a fender eliminator but it takes someone special to change out the exhaust. Not exactly something cheap nor all that easy to install. If you go Akra... you've got money.

You can just get a cheap slip on for looks so you don't need a full exhaust kit but to each their own and they can change the sound of the g310r too.

though I'll probably stay away from Ebay and go local.

Just going off of what the Akra exhaust is for the 800R ($920 USD MSRP) for just a slip on. Can you imagine the full system for the G310r ?

Not worth it and there are plenty of other exhaust options out there like yoshi, FMF, two brothers racing, etc.

It may be a while before Yoshi gets their hands on a g310r for parts fitting as it's being released elsewhere first. We're probably going to see the Indonesian aftermarket guys jump on it first.
